Dr. Jeanne D. Williams, LCSW
I’m Dr. Jeanne D. Williams, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and founder of Discover the Journey Life Coaching and Counseling. I specialize in working with individuals, couples, and families across all stages of life—including children, preteens, teens, adults, and older adults. My clients come from diverse backgrounds, including Black/African American and Hispanic/Latino communities, and often include single parents and caregivers who are navigating complex emotional challenges.
I provide compassionate support for a wide range of concerns, including trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, marital and premarital counseling, family conflict, OCD, ODD, behavioral challenges, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, and career transitions.
My approach is integrative and holistic, focusing on the mind-body connection and the patterns that shape how we think, feel, and act. Together, we’ll explore the root causes of your distress—looking beyond symptoms to address the deeper issues that keep you feeling stuck. I believe in helping clients build self-belief, confidence, and resilience, while also tending to foundational habits like sleep, nutrition, movement, and connection.
In our first few sessions, you can expect a safe, welcoming space where we’ll get to know your story and identify the areas you’d like to focus on most. We’ll work collaboratively to set goals, develop coping strategies, and create a personalized plan for healing and growth.
What makes my practice unique is my ability to blend clinical expertise with genuine empathy and life coaching techniques, empowering my clients to not only heal but also thrive in every area of their lives. I see therapy as a journey of discovery—one where we move from surviving to truly living.
I am deeply passionate about this work because I believe everyone has the capacity to rewrite their story and create a life that reflects who they truly are. Walking alongside my clients as they find strength, clarity, and hope is the greatest privilege of my career.
